This internationally known Cowgirl Poet has written, taught and performed Cowboy Poetry around the world. Debra has been honored with the Southwest Nighthawks Storyteller Award, the very first TR Stephenson Momorial Cowboy Poetry Award and the Academy of Western Artists Will Rogers Award.
As the manager of the family brood mare operation in rural Oklahoma Debra writes what she knows best, Cowboys, Cowgirls, Cattle, Horses and Rural Life. Her poetry ranges from humorous to heartfelt and draws the reader into her world of Livestock and Stewards of the Land.
